New Modern Warfare 2 details leaked?
Today a regular member at our site CriousGamer mailed me this news which seems to be the latest rumored leaks, I think these details might be right because everything listed below can easily be expected from the ‘Infinity Wards’ upcoming ‘Modern Warfare 2′ sequel to the smash hit 2007 title ‘Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’.
1. All the weapons from the original are coming again.
2. 3 maps from the original are coming back with a few noticeable tweaks here & there.
3. There is a total of 16 maps including 3 from the original.
4. 20 new weapons will be added to the inventory & the most noticeable are the FAMAS assault rifle, HK PSG-1 sniper rifle, MP7 sub machine gun, AA12 fully automatic shotgun, MG4 LMG and the .44 magnum revolver.
5. Multiple attachment perk has been added which allows 2 attachments to be added to a weapon.
6. The Single Player Campaign is predicted to last 7+ hours.
7. Co-op Mode has been added.
8. A new Alien Terrorist co-op mode is also added with details still unknown.
9. The multiplayer is set to have 4 new modes above the original modes.
10. A new CLAN system & TOURNAMENT system will be added.
11. The PS version of the game is set to have Dedicated severs provided from SONY [Xbox Servers status still unknown].
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled to be released on ‘November 10/2009′.
This October comes the challenge of Modern Warfare and Battlefield: Bad Company. Medal of Honor of Electronic Arts is being released on October 12 and it will challenge both the games for the top spot in the FPS genre.
Last week at E3 gaming event the stills and multi-player footage were released. The footage bound to bring comparison with the MW2 and BBC2.
The styles of the game is similar to the MW2 and BBC2, but MoH appears to concentrate on points and not focus on kills as MW2 does.

This seems to be fake. At least i hope so. 3 original maps and all the same weapons. I mean, IW could do better than that.
The last leaked details were fake too so i quess we can only trust things writen by IW.

Yea i like all the weapons from Cod4, but if i wan’t to play with them i will play cod4 not cod6.
So give new weapons and maybe take very few weapons from cod4 like ak,mp5 and such.
This is a new game not an expansion. Btw alien terrorist co-op, wtf? Dont make the same mistake like Treyarch and make a copy of nazi zombie with aliens instaed :S

Looks good. Obviously they have to keep the majority of guns, you mutts. They will have no problem changing the guns and game enough that you will only recognize the guns by their looks, not function. Alien terrorists sounds sweet; it’s just like the Nazi Zombies idea.

First off, people need to read the whole 11 items before commenting. It says all the guns are returning, plus 20 new ones. Three original maps, plus who knows how many new ones.

The whole point of the zombie mode was to back up the campaign mode, just incase it wasnt enough, as we all know was the case with the globally complained against COD4. If, even though it was, the campaign wasnt enough, this would back it up.People found both good, so every1 bums COD5
New guns sound good, i dont mind keeping some guns but please get rid of the g3 and r700. Every time i see them it hurts.

FAMAS and other guns sound great though. PSG is an excellent sniper. Just keep the m14 though, for gods sake.

on cod 6 u should be able to control the mounted machine gun on the heli copter and wen u get 7 kill streak u should call it in and it will drop a rope near ur position and then climp up it but the helicopter will be low so u can get in it easily and but u can be shot wen climbing up but there shuld be a perk were u can have like a pullie system where u can climp up it and there would be somthing pulling u up quicker. i think this would be a great idea but alot of nobs will say that its a rubish idea but it will make snipering more fun.

there should be a mode called warfare but not online ranked but a bit like zombie mod. It should have up to 30 players on split into 2 teams or 3 and would have loads of vicheles and other things. This would be good if u dont like zombie or u dont like online ranking. u would be ablue to make clans on the servers and clans will be able to play as one team like clan wars

On cod 5 there is tank perks there should be heli perks about seven
Most of these will only work if u can control the heli
Lower overheat: to stop overheat occuring but will overheat less
pull up rope faster: to climp in heli
radar: view enimeys
double tap/stopping power: make machine gun faster and stronger
sheild: to protect yourself from bulliets but will break eventually
fast: make the heli move faster to dodge rpgs and other devices
double heli perk: unlocked at a high level which allows u to use 2 perks

They should put in weapons that use unique cartridges such as the FN FiveseveN, Barrett REC7, QBZ-95, VSS Vintorez, CheyTac Intervention, and MP7 just to name a few. They should take out weapons that are essentially the same and leave ‘em out, weapons such as the FAMAS, C8, L85A1 and AUG; all of these listed weapons are chambered for the 5.56 x 45mm round and would basically be the same in the game, except for their rates of fire, looks, etc; and putting them in would make the game boring and undermine the need for a sequel to COD4; they’d just need to make a patch with skins for COD4 and re-release it.

Since there are 4 extra game modes, i want one to be infection.Like heres how it would work.It starts out where there is one zombie and it starts growing.The last person has 2 scenerios.He has 5 minutes time limit and gets 30 seconds to chose what to do.The choses are Get Nuke and die with high score, go in a helicopter and go on turrent and escape when time is up.And the last thing is geting a infinate ammo semi auto lazer rifle.2nd gamemode is Random Deathmatch.You can get team or free for all at random.Then You get random classes and maps and teams.Thats what would be good for Modern Warfare 2 and is what i want.

this game supposedly comes out 3 days before my b-day for 360. this game will pwn regardless if this news is fake or not its IW not treyarch(who basically did cod2 big red 1 expansion with multiplayer). the weapons i hope they keep are the RPD, M4, and R700 i own hardest with those 3 i got all red tiger skins on em and as long as they keep shipment as 1 of the orginal maps.
BTW if this IS fake E3 is coming early june so i’ll be watching all day

I have PS3, COD 4, used to have COD5, but it sucked, so i sold it :). Warcore Gaming is where I have my on line Servers for CoD2 MAN MOD CoD4 MW and CoD5 WAW I hope this game comes out before the end of the year as I’m getting a bit tired now of the CoD4 Version and there has not been any decent MODs for a while. From what I read it is indeed something to really look forward to and a lot more Gore with some decent Zmobie Bots.

The alien terrorists will probably be an attempt to copy nazi zombies from cod 5. After all cod 5 was rated the number 8 best zombie game. It’s wierd, treyarch is usualy copying infinity ward and now it’s the other way around. Alien terrorist will probably be better than zombies, I trust infinity ward will do a good job. I’m psyched for the release of this game!

also they need to make it where u can use any three perks not just pick one perk 1 and one perk 2 and one perk 3 just not where u can use juggernaut and stopping power and they should have a game mode where u have a small team like 4 or 5 ppl and u have to gget the president or some other vip from point a to point b and on the radar they should have the names of buildings so u can stratigize better when talking in game chat or partys and keep cage match cause some ppl need an easy way to do things

on call of duty 6 i am going to have to agree they should make it to were when u call in the hellicopter u can climb in it beacuse it would be eaqualy fair u can still get sniped out of it and it would make it a little bit easier for ppl on the ground beacuse u never know how good ur aim is but it seams like a fun and smart idea and make sniping alot more popular
