MW2 will be a big hit as the other CoD series
It is an open fact that the biggest title in 2007 as well as in 2008 were Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: World at War respectively. This is also evident because till today both the games are played too much, especially the 2007 hit CoD4: Modern Warfare.
It is also expected same or even more from the Modern Warfare 2 that is going to be unveiled on November 10 this year. The CEO of Activision Publishing earlier said to the media that they are expecting this much awaited series of the Call of Duty to be a big hit and in fact the biggest title in the videogame industry.
He also said that when the original MW was launched in the year 2007 then it had a substantial jump in consumers engaged in the CoD franchise. He explains further that Modern Warfare 2 will be having a ready purchasers.
He adds, “We also look at Modern Warfare 2 and where it’s strongest on the next-gen platforms of PS3 and Xbox 360. The installed base from the first Modern Warfare to the second one will be nearly double.”
Electronic Arts (EA) been throwing punches at Modern Warfare 2 for sometime claiming that the new Battlefield: Bad Company from the DICE studio would have dedicated servers for the PC gamers. It will be valuing the importance of PC gameplay and also customization of it.
Jens Uwe, headmaster of the European division of EA, said in an interview on Friday, “In March we will launch Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which is our first strong attack on Call Of Duty… The shooter space is one we don’t want to give up. It’s an important genre and we were the number one. So we are certainly working on how we can get that crown back and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is an important product in that context.”
One who has played first Bad Company as well as the Modern Warfare titles may be knowing well that the games are very different in style and also in gunplay. We may also have found out that DICE is on the way of making some changes in it such as making the enemies more easier to kill to fall in line.
GREAT! now we will hav twice as many players to play with in MW2! i also cant wait for the new MW2 co-op feature aswell.

Hell yeah! More players…can’t wait! I hope it can be two players same console/screen…or something like that for co-op.

Mw2 in split screen (not xboxlive) you should be able to make your own classes and there being a gAME where you are not alone, playing with somebody somhow like xboblive. Should expect good hit detection in both live ans split screen New camo and attatchments plz

it doesnt take a genious to realise that this game will be huge, but i hope its not just hype. GTA4 was just hype and was said to be awesome but was one of THE most boring games ever created… visually stunning but my god.
COD4/MW1 still is one of the best games ever made, i’m playing right now over a year since release and the games are still full within 10 seconds of opening up. That kind of level is just unheard of in a game! particulary on a console.
i hope for MW2, they realise the shear magnitude of people playing this game and accomodate the correct amount of dedicated servers in order to make this game just untouchable! p2p is great but it has some severe limitations.

game mode> tdm > ambush> search
