Infinity Ward compromises on lower resolution

It is repeated once again as it was the case of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare 2 will not be rendered on 720p or 1080p. Hope there may be valid reason from the developer Infinity Ward to choose lower resolution. Let us assume good reasons.
It has been announced that Modern Warfare 2 will be supporting 600p resolution which is equivalent to 1024 x 600 pixels. We can also say that Infinity Ward has made the compromise of lower resolution. Well, lower resolution favors a higher frame rate and more detail.
In fact Modern Warfare 2 actually runs in the relatively low resolution of 1024 x 600. Anyway, console will in fact upscale this to whatever display resolution gamers choose. PC users will be able to render the game at decent resolutions.
Well, put your comments whether this compromise of Invinity Ward is actually based on technology benefit.
First multimedia footage of Modern Warfare 2 released
Earlier we had seen single-player demo of Modern Warfare 2. Now Infinity Ward has released the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer trailer that reveals endless kill-streak fun. Gamers can unlock and customize their kill streak rewards in it.
More to this, gamers are no more only restricted to the UAV, then the airstrike, and the helicopter as their killstreak goes up. They can choose from varieties of bonuses. They can take the gunner seat on a lockhead AC-130 as it places over the battlefield.
In the footage the game looks spectacular. Gamers will like it.
Isn’t Activision setting new and wrong trend of price hike
The UK price of Modern Warfare 2 has made angered gamers to boycott the game. The £54.99 retail price tag of the game seems to be more expensive in the UK market. This time people seems to go against the publisher.

The price hike from Activision has opened the path for other publisher to follow it. Across internet and other media, there is only news flood of price hike. The blogs, forums and social network over the internet are seen covering a sort of boycott statements.
TotalGamingNetwork recently found that 68% of its PC using readership is planning not to support the publishers.
Well, what I personally feel that any official boycott will not have any impact on the sales and success of Modern Warfare 2. in fact the success of Modern Warfare 2 is totally in the hands of the mainstream gaming audience.

Exchange rates difference should not effect the price of MW2
If the exchange rates of Euro and pound are distancing themselves then it does not mean that the retail price of Modern Warfare 2 should pinch the fans. But, sad to say, this has happened.

Modern Warfare 2 is costing £54.99, which is five pounds more than most new video game releases.
Activision has done this and it is sure that other publishers are also going to follow the increased price tag.
Only to defend themselves the publishers are singing the song of exchange rates in the UK market. They are also defending themselves by saying that the development costs for next gen software is regularly rising more than their expectations.
Ha!
Well, whatever be the genuine reason of this increased price, one thing is for sure that fans of MW2 will never consider that Activision is justified in setting its own higher prices.
Readers… Do leave your comment and expected price.
Branded controller in work for MW2
It is being heard that Activision and Infinity ward is going to launch controller along with Modern Warfare 2. They are not in fact manufacturing it but are going to outsource it to a third party. They are helping in designing a branded controller for the Modern Warfare 2 and it is going to coincide the release of the game.

Peripherals are always good for video games and specially peripheral like controller. It is in fact nice to hear that the controller will be made exclusively for MW2.
Though Activision and Infinity Ward is trying to bring to market branded controller but it is a big doubt whether gamers would like to have a branded controller. Moreover, there nothing special about it at all.
Let us leave upon Infinity Ward and Activision and wait for the release date. But yes, do put down your views in the comment section.

Do you all want to see the unboxing of the entire set of Modern Warfare 2. Here we have a video of it. This was officially unboxed by Robert Bowling, the Community Manager of Infinity Ward, aka FourZero Two.
After seeing the video it is sure that we say goodbye to the cat helmets, sound tracks, art books and even to behind the scenes DVDs. This game’s Prestigious Edition reminds of a new baseline in collector’s editions of games.
Let us give a quick check on what is there in the box.
There is an art book in the box, an arcade code and some limited edition packaging including a night vision goggles.
This October comes the challenge of Modern Warfare and Battlefield: Bad Company. Medal of Honor of Electronic Arts is being released on October 12 and it will challenge both the games for the top spot in the FPS genre.
Last week at E3 gaming event the stills and multi-player footage were released. The footage bound to bring comparison with the MW2 and BBC2.
The styles of the game is similar to the MW2 and BBC2, but MoH appears to concentrate on points and not focus on kills as MW2 does.
Below is the footage of Medal of Honor:
