Branded controller in work for MW2
It is being heard that Activision and Infinity ward is going to launch controller along with Modern Warfare 2. They are not in fact manufacturing it but are going to outsource it to a third party. They are helping in designing a branded controller for the Modern Warfare 2 and it is going to coincide the release of the game.
Peripherals are always good for video games and specially peripheral like controller. It is in fact nice to hear that the controller will be made exclusively for MW2.
Though Activision and Infinity Ward is trying to bring to market branded controller but it is a big doubt whether gamers would like to have a branded controller. Moreover, there nothing special about it at all.
Let us leave upon Infinity Ward and Activision and wait for the release date. But yes, do put down your views in the comment section.
This October comes the challenge of Modern Warfare and Battlefield: Bad Company. Medal of Honor of Electronic Arts is being released on October 12 and it will challenge both the games for the top spot in the FPS genre.
Last week at E3 gaming event the stills and multi-player footage were released. The footage bound to bring comparison with the MW2 and BBC2.
The styles of the game is similar to the MW2 and BBC2, but MoH appears to concentrate on points and not focus on kills as MW2 does.

Me and my roommate were talking about the ergonomics of the 360 controller vs the PS3 controller. I have a PS3 controller (I don’t mind it, a controller is a controller) but i do like the feel of the 360 controller (the triggers are good). If they make a quality shooter controller i would buy it, I don’t want to see a PS3 controller with the MWF2 logo on it.

Not to start a heated debate but… number wise the PS3 is Almost twice the system. Just an example, floating point calculation, is a intense mathematical calculation, a gauge of a system’s ability. The 360 puts out an impressive 1 TFLOP but, the PS3 blows it out of the water weighing in at 1.8 TFLOP (no big deal). Im no fan boy either thats unbiased numbers right there. I will say that the 360 has better games (so who cares about numbers?)but to be fair the PS3 has come out with some good ones too and they have a beastly line up on the way… like MAG (the shooter i’m most anticipating).

Admittedly mag does look awesome, and ok so your silly chart thing also says it’s better.
But :
1. A lot of my friends have PS3’s and every single one of them has had to send it back because it broke which just says it all.
2. Xbox 360 came out first letting playstation wait to realise the few errors on the 360 and then put them right on their console.
3. Games. The 360’s games are easily twice as good as the PS3’s games, for example gears of war 1 & 2, halo 3 etc. What good games have playstation got? Resistance and that’s about it that is unique to the PS3.
4. Everyone says the graphics are better they might be but if they are, only by the smallest most unrecognizable gap, graphics come down to what tv you use realy.
5. Xbox live vs playstation marketplace. Ok so you have to pay for xbox live but you pay for quality goods, xbox live is so good it quite easily outranks marketplace.

Alot of PS3’s did get snuffed on a firmware update that rocked the Blu Ray players, but I’d have to imagine more 360’s had the “Red Ring of Death”. Also the 360 scratches discs(50 bucks down the drain)I know it’s only if you move it while its on, but it happened to people i know and that was all over the internet. On the topic of games i did say 360 has better games (for now). But PS3 has a nice line-up, MGS4 which was incredibly well made and is a game that 360 literally can not run. Infamous very good game, killzone 2 (killzone 1 sucked), I actually didn’t like resistance but i’ll put it out there its a popular one.
Lastly on graphics and PS3 coming out a year later. Graphic wise in a last gen analogy its like ps2 vs pc games 3 years after the ps2 release. No one programs for the ps3 because 360 came out first and thats what people own, this is very similar to xbox being better then ps2 but microsoft relesed late so no one owned an xbox. Also systems spend years in the development phase then get produced and spend six months sitting in a warehouse, there wouldn’t be enough time to “copy” anything the 360 did.

im just givin my opinion and am not sayin which is better im just goin 2 giv pros/cons XBOX:pros=xbox live, been out longer so more/better games, can get elite which has higher memory than ps3(80gb),better controller. cons=lower grade graphics card than ps3 but dosent show any significant difference, less powerful, uses huge power brick which i dont no why people make such a big deal about it cuz i doesent effect how you play, uses standard disc tray which are known to scratch, can only use xbox official accessories ie. headset-camera, ps3:pros=blu ray drive, internet access, playstation home, uses higher grade graphics card(rsx), reasonably gud games, does not need extra attachment for wifi, does not need annual payment for online gaming. cons=its v.big console, less games, online gaming setup is not as gud as xbox live, costs alot

not been funny chap but ya kinda state the obvious…..ps3 not been out as long…so clearly they haven’t had as much time as microsoft to manipulate the software……and looking at microsoft…xbox to xbox 360….not any major changes are there in how the games are made other than well it has a bigger better graphics card. now lets take a look at the ps2 to ps3, revolutionary change in gaming!! and btw the ps3 has the best driving simulatd game ever created…. and xbox have never come close to it, gran turismo. might sound like im blabbin on now so 1 last point.
ps3 changed the way games were produced…..oh ye and xbox did….ye…not alot.
i wouldn’t buy any of them if i knew the flaws prior to purchase. i’d wait for a better console which can progress and be upgraded just like the tv’s of today are.

imagine the ps3 vs 360 fight as a ww2 tank fight. you have the panzer (ps3) vs the sherman (360). the sherman is cheaper and reliable and will get the job done. but they are prone to destruction

@Sneezyjuju About 50 of my friends have ps3, since they came out. NONE of them broke. Well some thing did, there xboxs, yeah i kinda go to a rich kid school so they most have both, then one friend bought one and he got rocks instead of a xbox, and that happens a lot! Ps3 people dont do that.

PS3 is a lot better in my opinion as xbox games tend to be more based on FPS while ps3 has a great variety, from LBP to GT 5 prologue to infamous to MAG. And the ps3’s controller is much lighter and easier to use than the xbox’s bulky controller.

XBOX is just as good as PS3…oh but wait a minute, just in…you pay $60 to $100 for a great local internet service provider? oh crap, that means if you are an XBOX owner that is an additional online fee that you must hand over to enjoy online gaming on top of paying your Local ISP, I think it is funny how you must pay XBOX LIVE an additional fee when it is YOUR net and sometimes YOUR XBOX that host the game ummm, so why are you paying someone else for use of your net and XBOX! sorry XBOX lovers I’ll stick with my FREE online game play through PSN oh and those of yo say XBOX has better connection, your full of crap because it is still however good your LOCAL ISP is not XBOX.

yeah, it costs to go get a network adapter, but the ps3 console costs more, so that part kinda evens out. really, the only online thing u pay for that the ps3 dont, is the monthly fee. but its not really an outrageous fee. if u look at price, the xbox starts off better, but eventually, it ends up bein cheaper to have a ps3. but i think 50 dollars a year is worth being able to play the xbox exclusives online for a year.
