Modern Warfare 2 Trailer Released + Confirmation of Release Date
So most of us had the feeling the release date was going to be 11.10.09 because some game dealers had the release date set last month, but nobody knew if it was the retailer trolling COD fans, a slip up by the sites webmaster, or an intentional leak by IW to create buzz. The same thing actually happen with COD5 and, like this time, it too turned out to be the correct release date.
So anyway, the date has been confirmed and they have released a trailer, the trailer defiantly leaves the viewer hungry for more which is a bad thing for us and a good thing for IW. You may watch the trailer here. If you pause at specific areas you can kind of make out some stuff, I definitely noticed either a tank or maybe the back end of a helicopter…so sad that I put this much viewing effort into this. This October comes the challenge of Modern Warfare and Battlefield: Bad Company. Medal of Honor of Electronic Arts is being released on October 12 and it will challenge both the games for the top spot in the FPS genre.
Last week at E3 gaming event the stills and multi-player footage were released. The footage bound to bring comparison with the MW2 and BBC2.
The styles of the game is similar to the MW2 and BBC2, but MoH appears to concentrate on points and not focus on kills as MW2 does.

Sam you say the game will be rubbish, yet you have never played any of it and you dont know any info about it yet. Shut your mought and wait for the game to be released and then judge it.

i think that its is about terrorists,ploting revenge in one of the screen shots there seems to be a oil rig and an airport. i can wait till it comes out i hope it has a good plot if it is about terrorists. and i hope there is the S.A.S the best regiment in the world

I would like to see more weapons (AUG Styer etc.) more weapons that can be camo’d to gold and full custom camo for the person (ie change colour and style), also you can put silencers on sniper rifles and have mulitple attachment on weapons like a GLA and ACOG and more attachments like a bigger mag,shorter barrels and different stocks on rifles, basicly make you weapon how you want it to look and they should also carry over rank from MW too. (reduced of course) and if you have gold weapons you should be able to keep them too to use in MW2 (I only just finished the assult rifles and I want to use my gold AK47 more :p )

I just got modern warfare and currently on the third mission played for an hour last night this game is the shit. All those people sahying that its crap probably never played the game or they’re just sore losers. If they put nazi zombies in the game it would kind of kill it. Nazi zombies are more of a WW2 theme. They should start with something like terrorists as an extra little mini game. Or like terroists zombies but hey tahts my thought if they put nazi zombies in it it tehy would probably make it fun with all the modern weapons. But Modern warfare 2 will be game of the year no doubt. Its Infinity Ward and activision they won’t let us down would be nice for a new trailer though the one now is a nice teaser. Any thoughts for this game?

if they keep prestige i hope they are smart enough to allow a person to keep a perk from the last level and when they prestige again they get to keep 2 perks and so forth…and at lvl 8 they get to have 4 perks for getting to the higher lvls and playing so dam long LOL.
