Short review of MW2 Resurgence Pack
It has been over a month the Resurgence Pack of Modern Warfare 2 has been out in the market, but gamers are still wondering whether to buy it or not. This small review will help those gamers, who are confused, to make up their minds wheter to go ahead and buy it or not.

Vacant & Strike:
Vacant and Strike are basically the re-makes of Call of Duty 4. Both have been improved with lighting effects, morning sun in Vacant and beaming light in Strike. Moreover, amount of objects in Strike have been multiplied such as litter, chunks of concrete etc.
In Vacant the grassy areas have been improved. Flowers growing from the ground is also seen in it.
Fuel
This map is packed with big, white oil tanks also destroyed lorries and cars and most of them are on fire. It is little complicated map. So, gamers really need to concentrate on it.
Trailer Park
This map has twists and turns everywhere and it requires a team work to win. It is most defiantly a confusing map, but it is great to keep players thinking on every turn they make.
Carnival
It is exactly a carnival, which has everything such as merry-go-rounds, roller-coaster track etc. It is a detailed map and is pretty simple. It is in fact a long vertical line with number of obstacles. The colors, the rides, graffiti and everything in this map is adorable.
New map pack releasing on June 3rd
In a recent press release, Activision discloses some of the information about the new map pack of Modern Warfare 2, the Resurgence Pack.

According to the release, the Resurgence Pack is being released on 3rd of June on Xbox Live. Well, the release did not mention anything about the pricing part of the map pack, but definitely some assumptions can be made if we consider about how many people threw down their hard earned benjamins for the last pack.
It may be probably charged 20 bucks. Below are some of the more details of the map pack which was briefed by community manager Robert Bowling:
Carnival - Bowling said that this map is set inside a “desolated amusement park”. He adds further that Carnival map has unique locations such as fun house and rollercoaster.
Trailer Park - According to Robert Bowling, Trailer Park is a cozy map that features abandoned trailers and also tight corridors.
Fuel - Bowling says that Fuel map is like a “sniper haven” and it is based in an oil refinery.
I stumbled across a pretty cool COD4 custom map server tonight
I usually stick to the stock maps but I was feeling a little bored tonight so I ventured onto this custom server and it wasn’t too bad. It’s almost like a little CSS mixed with a little COD4. The guns had much less recoil and the sniper rifles didn’t have any sway/hold breath which was cool.
As you can see from the video, all guns have skins and red dot laser sight. If it’s night time the RDLS turns into the long green beam like you got in single player mode. I only stayed on for 3 maps, no idea how many they have in rotation. Oh, and the G3 was fully automatic which was really awesome. I’m sure there were other things about some of the guns I didn’t try too but I don’t know for sure. I did check the M16 too in order to check if it was fully automatic but unfortunately, it wasn’t.
The people talking were a tad bit annoying but whatever, who am I to complain? It’s their server and they pay for it so they can saw WTF ever they want to.
If you’re up for a different kind of COD4 experience you may want to check it out some day.
Here’s a little video I made real quick so you can see some of the features.
This October comes the challenge of Modern Warfare and Battlefield: Bad Company. Medal of Honor of Electronic Arts is being released on October 12 and it will challenge both the games for the top spot in the FPS genre.
Last week at E3 gaming event the stills and multi-player footage were released. The footage bound to bring comparison with the MW2 and BBC2.
The styles of the game is similar to the MW2 and BBC2, but MoH appears to concentrate on points and not focus on kills as MW2 does.
Below is the footage of Medal of Honor:
