Even after two months of its release, Modern Warfare 2 is reigning supreme. It is not like other videogames that comes and goes. For it it is impossible to budge from the top spot in the UK videogaming chart.

Some are in a view that the launch of Mass Effect 2, space-based RPG from BioWare and Electronic Arts, might take down MW2. Let us wait and see whether the forthcoming games can or cannot bring down the top position of MW2.

In the United Kingdom videogaming chart the second spot is crowned to Assassin’s Creed 2 from Ubisoft. This is one of the games which maintained its launching date in the face of behemoth, but it has been rewarded with the second position.

In the chart, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games from SEGA is benefiting because of the arrival of Olympic events in real world. Wii Fit Plus has also gained and is now five against the earlier position of six.

The down sliding is FIFA 10 from EA Sports. It was on second position earlier but now it is in the fifth place. Just Dance has also gone down from fifth to seventh place.

Report comes from different news media source that Sony is deciding the prospect of releasing Modern Warfare 2 PS3 bundle and also to coincide it with the release of the FPS sequel in November this year.

The company did not say anything officially about this release of Modern Warfare 2 PS3 bundle.

It has been a continued rumors about Sony planning the release of a 250GB version of their new PS3 Slim. It presently comes with an option of 120GB.

In this context Sony stated: “We’ve not made any announcements about bundle packs, but will let you know should that change”.
One thing is sure that Modern Warfare 2 themed bundle will appeal lot of fans of the game.

Yesterday, Microsoft launched a Limited Edition of MF2 Themed Xbox 360 packed with a 250 GB HDD. Amazon is now taking pre-orders of MF2 Xbox 360 250 HDD now!

So have you ever been banned from a server for hacking? Some of you have probably been banned for hacking because you were hacking, but it’s a different story when you weren’t actually hacking.

It’s a weird feeling, at first you’re angry and pissed off. After 20min or so you get a nice feeling because you were playing so good they actually thought you must have been cheating, there really is no better compliment in a video game than being banned for hacking when in fact you were not hacking.

I haven’t been banned form a server for a couple months like this, it’s almost nice for a change. I wasn’t even angry or rude in the thread I made on the clans site until some needle dick came in running his mouth and being rude, then I went ahead and let them have it. The clan in question is [CAg] which I thought was a decent clan. I notice them in many of the S&D servers I visit so I really didn’t expect this, figured they wouldn’t be this noobish.

So there it is, I just wanted to publicly vent. Not a big deal, I can find a different server to play on but I did like the server. It was a SC S&D server with killcam and a decent map rotation. I’m actually looking for a new “home” server, I play on NoBS server a lot and they’re cool people, decent map rotation, but I want to find a server where the players are mostly all better than me. You can’t get better unless you play with people who are better than you. Unfortunately I’m in a weird spot and it’s starting to look like my only option is a ProMod server which I really am trying to hold off on. ProMod is OK but the people who play there take the shit WAY seriously, I kind of like a more laid back environment.

I am trying to work with the |mele| clan as we speak to find our own server. I am offering a blogroll link on both this site and modernwarfare2.net in exchange for a free COD4 server. INX Gaming gave us a server but it was in the UK and our pings were horrible so we had to scrap the deal. If anyone knows of a U.S. based game server host that wants an awesome link in exchange let them know about me, or let me know about them. These two sites get well over 200k unique visitors per month of highly targeted traffic.

Today a regular member at our site CriousGamer mailed me this news which seems to be the latest rumored leaks, I think these details might be right because everything listed below can easily be expected from the ‘Infinity Wards’ upcoming ‘Modern Warfare 2′ sequel to the smash hit 2007 title ‘Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’.

1. All the weapons from the original are coming again.
2. 3 maps from the original are coming back with a few noticeable tweaks here & there.
3. There is a total of 16 maps including 3 from the original.
4. 20 new weapons will be added to the inventory & the most noticeable are the FAMAS assault rifle, HK PSG-1 sniper rifle, MP7 sub machine gun, AA12 fully automatic shotgun, MG4 LMG and the .44 magnum revolver.
5. Multiple attachment perk has been added which allows 2 attachments to be added to a weapon.
6. The Single Player Campaign is predicted to last 7+ hours.
7. Co-op Mode has been added.
8. A new Alien Terrorist co-op mode is also added with details still unknown.
9. The multiplayer is set to have 4 new modes above the original modes.
10. A new CLAN system & TOURNAMENT system will be added.
11. The PS version of the game is set to have Dedicated severs provided from SONY [Xbox Servers status still unknown].

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled to be released on ‘November 10/2009′.

I was reading the comments on this post and saw one of the guys made some pretty decent observations about the new perks that were seen in the first trailer for Modern Warfare 2. So, here’s what the guy posted:

So most of us had the feeling the release date was going to be 11.10.09 because some game dealers had the release date set last month, but nobody knew if it was the retailer trolling COD fans, a slip up by the sites webmaster, or an intentional leak by IW to create buzz. The same thing actually happen with COD5 and, like this time, it too turned out to be the correct release date.

So anyway, the date has been confirmed and they have released a trailer, the trailer defiantly leaves the viewer hungry for more which is a bad thing for us and a good thing for IW. You may watch the trailer here. If you pause at specific areas you can kind of make out some stuff, I definitely noticed either a tank or maybe the back end of a helicopter…so sad that I put this much viewing effort into this. OK, so here’s the deal ladies. If you have a clan or are thinking of starting a clan and need hosting, you can host it here free of charge. Take a look at this area of the forum, it’s an example of what your clan forums would look like. Who ever requests the clan forum will be made moderator of their entire clan forum so that you will be able to add/remove boards and decide who can see what boards and so on.

I’m going to need a vouleenteer that will be strictly responsible for setting up new forums for clans. So if a clan requests a free forum, you will be responsible for setting it up, setting the correct permission for the main user, and getting them all squared away. The vouleenteer should be responsible and very familiar with SMF forums. If you’re currently a member of the forums or a moderator feel free to apply. It’s important that the person be very familiar with SMF and how it works as you will have admin permissions and the ability to really mess things up if you don’t know what you’re doing.
