Call of Duty: Black Ops is getting released on November 9 this year.

Kotick added further that the CoD series became more successful gradually with each title. He also added that the preorders of Black Ops are already tracking higher than the MW2’s advance sales at the same time.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released on November 10 last year.

Activision has targeted a good and strong move in the pre-owned game market. The company believes that it is worth about $1500 million a year.

The company is finding more sense in working with the current retailers instead of opening its own used game business.

A writer for “All About The Games” has written today an eye-witness account and he call it a “New Melee Attack Glitch.”

The writer, named Richard Horne, had given specific details on the exploit that also includes symptoms.

Below is the extracts what he had written:

“There’s a new glitch affecting multiplayer games, and I experienced it for myself the first yesterday. Basically, the game runs at about 2x normal speed so everyone sprints around like Usain Bolt on speed. But secondly, and perhaps most detrimentally, nobody is able to fire any of their primary or second weapons. Equipment and secondary grenades can be used, and if you have a riot shield equipped it’s possible to perform a melee attack, but with everyone charing about so quickly, it’s supremely difficult to actually kill anyone.”

Jens Uwe, headmaster of the European division of EA, said in an interview on Friday, “In March we will launch Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which is our first strong attack on Call Of Duty… The shooter space is one we don’t want to give up. It’s an important genre and we were the number one. So we are certainly working on how we can get that crown back and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is an important product in that context.”

One who has played first Bad Company as well as the Modern Warfare titles may be knowing well that the games are very different in style and also in gunplay. We may also have found out that DICE is on the way of making some changes in it such as making the enemies more easier to kill to fall in line.
