dont get me wrong, i had a xbox and loved it, just got bored having to pay for internet, and all the annoying shouters that have no life, i played my xbox constantly, a bit nerdy lol, but after playing a ps3 i got offerd a 60gig for £150 so i sold my xbox and got it :D, you can get a 'xbox' shapped controller for the ps3, you can do alot more on a ps3, download films straight to it through stagevu.com, and the blueray is on the games 2 :D

4) Overall Playing Ability - Like I said, I've never played on a PS3 before, but the graphics seem to kick ass. I don't like how their controller is laid out, I am much more of a fan of the Xbox controller. If I had to pick one, I'd pick Xbox because I trust Microsoft more, and when they get their new console out, it should kick some hardcore ass. lol.

When I get the chance to play a PS3, I'll let you know my take on it.

How many times does a Ps3 kick asses?  ;)

I guess quite a lot, but the biggest reason I like Xbox is because that's where all my friends are. None of my friends have a PS3, and I wouldn't be able to play/talk with my friends if I had one. That's the biggest reason.

im thinking about gettin a xbox ( already have a ps3 ) and yeh pretty much because my friends have xbox and i want left 4 dead 2 :P

In my opinion I prefer a 360 over a PS3. Even if my life depended on the choice I would choose 360. In other words I'm a PS3 hater. Sorry  ???

I feel the same way, but I don't hate the PS3. I just much more like the Xbox 360.

The xbox is way better!!!! I own one so its better and im never wrong and anyone who thinks so should die.

Is what I thought this thread to turn into. But no I'm impressed by my fellow forum members.

To be honest the only reason I have a 360 not a ps3 is because I had an Xbox and never owned a ps2. Mostly the same to me.

BLUE RAY: I honestly can't tell the difference. Both console tend to have games with graphics far higher than my standards so I don't care either way.
ONLINE: Xbox has more people which is good, but it costs.  I like avatars, my friend whines about how they're a take off of miis but I think they're a vast improvement.
RELIABILITY: my first 360 rrod 3 times which we needed to send it away for three weeks each for repairs. I think it's it's greatest flaw. It irritates me so much. (noted I bought mine on release)
BUT nowadays there i so little seperating the consoles that the only difference is exclusives in which case i prefer 360 for fable II and mass effect (I love them both like they're my children).
