MW2 froze, lost all MP progress

Hi there,

I was playing MW2 and my game froze while I was shift-tabbed looking at my friends list. After about 3 minutes of the game being frozen I manually restarted my computer, and when I came back and reloaded MW2 to play I found that my account had been reset to the very first rank (I just got to 70, before the crash, and was going to go prestige soon).

Any help would be great in recovering my previous progress.

P.S. I am only concerned with getting my multiplayer stats back, because I didn't play the single player or co-op missions and I play MW2 on the PC.

That sucks. I know on console that if you are in the middle of a game and go to the dashboard, you lose all progress of that one game, nothing else. But this confuses me. Don't they keep everyone's stats on their database?
